Geriatric Times November/December 2004 Vol. V Issue 6

From the Editorial Staff

Dear Readers:

Three and a half years ago we embarked on a great journey together. Acknowledging the increasing health demands from the "graying of America," Geriatric Times aimed to share practical medical information with members of the interdisciplinary team.

Based on your responses and feedback, we have kept you up-to-date on the many disorders that affect your aging patients with clinical information presented in a useful manner; filled you in on research findings to illustrate what's on the horizon; and provided you with news that affects your practice and your patients. Our interesting and informative columns have explored subjects ranging from acupuncture to testosterone, the benefits of regular exercise to the dangers of polypharmacy. And we've provided you with continuing education articles on a wide variety of topics relevant to your aging patient base: chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, diabetic neuropathy, post-polio syndrome, cancer prevention, hypertension and influenza.

It is with regret, therefore, that we announce that this issue is the last issue of Geriatric Times. In this difficult economy, our publisher has made the decision to suspend publication. CME LLC will continue to focus on providing education related to the aging patient, and we invite you to attend the Issues in Aging medical conference (<www.issuesinaging.com>) for the kind of high-quality medical education and information you enjoyed from Geriatric Times.

We thank you for your support of Geriatric Times and for sharing this journey with us!

Cordially,
The Editorial Staff at Geriatric Times
